Meet Anne CavanaghAnne has lived in the DC metro area since 1981. She has been a full-time top producing Realtor since early 1989 and is licensed in both Maryland and the District of Columbia. Since 1998 she has been with W.C. & A.N. Miller Realtors, purchased by Long and Foster in 2007 and now a boutique division of the larger firm called W.C. & A.N. Miller, a Long and Foster Co. She regularly attends real estate seminars and most recently received the CRS designation (Certified Residential Specialist) held by less than 5% of Realtors nationwide. She obtained the GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) designation in 1998. From 2000 - 2004 Anne took many interior design classes at the Corcoran College of Art and was a part-time student in the Masters degree program in Interior Design at George Washington University. During 2004-2005 she participated in four Learning as Leadership (LAL) seminars in Sausalito, CA (www.Learnaslead.com) and did intensive work (28 days) focusing on communication skills, lifetime goals, priorities and the inter-connectedness of all we do as human beings. Anne graduated from Pomona College with a BA degree in English Literature.
Since 1993 Anne has lived in Bethesda with her husband Rich, who is Chief of the Surface and Microanalysis Science Division at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), their three children, their dog and cat. All three of their children attended Montgomery County Public Schools. Anne's hobbies include interior design, house remodeling, gardening, playing tennis, theatre, reading, art and traveling.
