Arrowood is bordered by Bradley Boulevard and the Burning Tree Country Club. It is near an entrance to both I-495 and I-270, making it very convenient.
Bannockburn is the community surrounding near the intersection of River Road and Wilson Lane. It features three churches and the Concord Center and Park. The park is used for practices and games, and the Concord Center is used for day camps, daycares and other activities.
Battery Park is popular for its convenience. A short walk will take residents to the heart of downtown Bethesda. At the same time, though, Congregation Beth El, the Bethesda United Methodist Church, Greenwich Park and NIH are just up Old Georgetown Road. Burning Tree Valley is located around the Holton Arms School. Holton Arms is a prestigious private school for girls. Its unofficial counterpart, the Landon School for boys, is only a few minutes drive away. The Burning Tree Country Club is only a few minutes away, and River Road (with access to Washington, D.C. and Potomac) is just down the road.
Carderock is located between Rock Run Park and the Naval Surface Center. It is popular because of its beautiful homes in a secluded neighborhood. It is on the border between Bethesda and Potomac.

Sonoma is a growing community across from the National Institute of Health. Arylawn Park is located in the heart of this community and is a fabulous place for sledding in the winter or throwing the ball around in the spring.

Stratton Woods is across Fernwood road from the Fernwood neighborhood. It is bordered by the beltway and I-270, and has very easy access to Montgomery Mall and Old Georgetown road, a major Bethesda throughway. The Wildwood and Georgetown Square shopping centers are a short drive away.
Sumner is located across Massachusetts Avenue from Westland Middle School. Little Falls Mall is nearby, as is Little Falls Branch Park.
