Bethesda Row is the row of shops and restaurants in the heart of downtown Bethesda. These restaurants have become a staple of nightlife in the region while a variety of boutiques and galleries make it a popular destination for shoppers. Bethesda Row is accessible via the Metro, Ride-On and Metro Bus, as well as by car. Street and garage parking is available, but in demand.

Cabin John Shopping Center

Cabin John Shopping Center is a small collection of stores at the corner of Tuckerman Lane and Seven Locks Road. It features a supermarket, several banks, a few restaurants, and a number of smaller stores. It is very convenient to many locations in Potomac and is very accessible by car.

Located just over the line into Washington, D.C., Mazza Gallerie is a premiere shopping center in Friendship Heights. While it is particularly convenient to Chevy Chase neighborhoods, it is easily accessed from the entire region via the Friendship Heights Metro Station. The mall features Neiman Marcus and Filene's Basement, while Saks Fifth Avenue and many other fine shops and restaurants are within two blocks.

Montgomery Mall is arguably the premiere mall in the area, although a major renovation is scheduled to begin there soon. It feature: Nordstrom's, Macy's, Sears, Old Navy and hundreds of other stores. The mall is located next to an entrance to I-270 and the beltway, making access to it very easy.

Rockville Pike
Rockville Pike is a major thoroughfare that runs between Bethesda and Rockville. Particularly along the Rockville portion of the Pike, many roadside stores and strip malls exist, including Federal Plaza and Congressional Plaza. The Pike is a popular shopping destination.

This is the major shopping mall in Georgetown featuring well over a hundred stores. A large parking garage is located under the mall making it easily accessible by car as well as foot. Georgetown is filled with shopping outside the mall as well, and a large movie theater is just around the corner.
Tyson's Corner

This enormous shopping center features 290 shops and department stores and is located right off the beltway. Tyson's Corner features Nordstroms, Blooming-dale's, Macy's, Lord & Taylor, L.L. Bean, Apple, The North Face, Kenneth Cole and many other fine stores. Tyson's also contains a huge food court and full movie theater.
Westbard Shopping Center
Westbard is a small community shopping center off River Road near the Westhaven, Wood Acres and Springfield neighborhoods. Westbard's most popular store are the shopping center, the drug store and the Starbucks. There is also a liquor store, a toy store and a bank. This shopping center is particularly popular because it is walking distance from the neighborhood.

White Flint Mall is served by the White Flint Metro Station, making it very easy to access. The mall is anchored by Lord &Taylor, Bloomingdale's and Borders Books. The Mall has a large movie theater, features Dave and Busters, Cheesecake Factory.
